What McCook High School Means to Us
Peyton Stagemeyer & Isaac Langan
McCook High School has been a second home for us throughout our high school career. The high school staff have been truly wonderful to us. We are grateful for all of their contributions and hard work toward helping us become better students and people. We firmly believe that the high school has successfully prepared us to succeed in a complex, global society.
As we have grown from freshmen to the young men we are today, we have realized that McCook High School has been a pillar in our life that we have clung to as we have grown. McCook has also given us freedom to make our own mistakes and learn from them. For the past three years we have organized the Leadership Banquet. This annual project has taught us how to organize our peers in order to complete a goal. These opportunities have not been unique to us, many students attending McCook have been able to take charge of there own projects bringing new ideas and increased camaraderie among the students. We have been able to see the sheer volume of leaders and innovators through the leadership banquet, and we truly believe that these students will change the world.
